A bathroom remodel lives or dies by what you never see: the waterproofing behind the tile, the slope of the shower floor and the exhaust fan that actually vents outside. LRTX Remodel builds primary baths, hall baths and powder rooms across Dallas–Fort Worth with those details done right — and finishes that look as good in ten years as on reveal day.
Bathroom projects we build
- Tub-to-shower conversions: replace an unused garden tub with a large curbless or low-curb walk-in shower.
- Primary suite remodels: double vanities, a freestanding tub, a separate water closet, heated floors and a walk-in closet connection.
- Hall and kids’ baths: durable tile, tub/shower combos and storage that survives daily use.
- Powder rooms: statement vanities, wall finishes and lighting for the room guests see.
- Aging-in-place baths: zero-threshold showers, grab bars blocked into the walls, comfort-height toilets and wider doorways.
Built to stay dry
Every shower we build gets a sloped mortar bed or pre-formed pan and a continuous waterproofing membrane on walls and floor, with seams and niches sealed and flood-tested before tile goes on. We replace old shower valves with pressure-balancing valves, put fans on their own duct to the exterior, and add GFCI protection where code requires. That is the difference between a bath that lasts and one that leaks into the subfloor.
What does a bathroom remodel cost in DFW?
Our bathroom remodels typically run $15,000–$75,000. A hall bath with the same layout is at the lower end; a primary bath with a curbless shower, a freestanding tub, moved plumbing and floor-to-ceiling tile is at the upper end. See the bathroom remodel cost guide for what drives the number.
Timeline
Most bathrooms take 2–3 weeks to design and select, then 3–6 weeks to build. Custom glass is measured after tile and installed about a week later. If it is your only shower, tell us — we will sequence the work to minimize the days you are without it.
