Done right on Texas slabs
Slab foundations on expansive clay can move and crack tile. We level the floor, use an uncoupling membrane where it is needed, plan movement joints and use the right mortar for large-format tile, so floors stay flat and crack-free.
Cost
Installed tile typically runs $12–$30 per sq ft, depending on tile size, pattern (herringbone and chevron take longer), and waterproofing needs.
