Flooring is where many remodels go wrong: planks installed over an unlevel slab, vinyl that gaps in August, hardwood cupping from moisture. Flooring is our own specialty, so LRTX Remodel installs it with our own crew — not a sub we meet on install day.
Floors we install
Solid and engineered hardwood: nail-down, glue-down and floating, site-finished or prefinished.
Hardwood refinishing: sand, stain and finish existing oak floors, including in older Fort Worth and Dallas homes.
Luxury vinyl plank and tile (LVP/LVT): waterproof and pet-friendly, ideal for slab-on-grade DFW homes.
Porcelain and ceramic tile, including large-format and wood-look tile.
Commercial flooring: VCT, sheet vinyl and athletic floors for businesses.
Prep is the job
Most DFW homes sit on concrete slabs over expansive clay. We moisture-test the slab, grind high spots, self-level low spots and use the right vapor barrier for the product. That prep is what keeps a floor flat, quiet and warrantied.
Cost
Installed flooring typically runs $6–$18 per sq ft, including removal and prep. LVP is at the lower end; site-finished hardwood and large-format tile at the higher end.
