Fresh paint is the fastest way to make a home feel new — and the fastest way to see a sloppy contractor. LRTX Remodel paints interiors across Dallas–Fort Worth with the prep that makes paint last: patched and textured drywall, caulked trim, sanded doors and clean cut lines.
What we paint
- Walls and ceilings, including two-story family rooms and stairwells.
- Baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings.
- Interior doors and door frames.
- Stair rails, balusters and built-ins.
- Kitchen and bathroom cabinets (see cabinets).
Prep is 70% of the job
We move and cover furniture, mask floors, fill nail pops and cracks, match orange-peel or knockdown texture on patches, caulk every trim gap and spot-prime stains. On older Fort Worth and Dallas homes we test for lead before sanding pre-1978 paint and follow EPA lead-safe practices.
Paint and sheen
We use premium lines from major manufacturers. Typical sheens: flat or matte on ceilings, eggshell or matte on walls, satin or semi-gloss on trim and doors, and semi-gloss in baths for moisture resistance.
Cost
Interior painting typically runs $3–$7 per sq ft of floor area for walls, ceilings and trim, depending on ceiling height, color changes and repairs. Single rooms and accent walls are priced individually.
